Indivisible began as a national movement to support our democracy.  It started small, as a guide for organizing on a local level, and quickly grew into a progressive grassroots movement. 

 

Indivisible Ashe County started out as offshoot of Indivisible High Country.   The interest and enthusiasm for community involvement has spread far beyond in the effort to stop our country from turning into a fascist dictatorship

Indivisible Ashe County is an all-volunteer group of members and an official group of the national Indivisible movement.  We rely on a group of volunteers working hard behind the scenes to plan events, engage in outreach, maintain our social media, represent us at events, and keep us safe.

Our teams include our Leadership Team, Outreach and Community Team, Safety Team, and Communications Team.

Indivisible Ashe County supports grassroots efforts across the counties of Western NC’s High Country. When individual counties or cities choose to formalize their own INDIVISIBLE local organization with a leadership team, IAC will stand alongside them—encouraging their efforts, offering resources, and providing support to help ensure success at the county and city level.
