No Kings Honk and Wave
Saturday, June 20th Jefferson, NC
Indivisible Ashe County held its first-ever Honk & Wave event. Most vehicles that passed by responded with enthusiastic waves, smiles, thumbs-up, and honks of encouragement. Waving and honking says it all!
We reconnected with old friends, made new friends.
Most importantly, we experienced once again that democracy is not just about elections—it is about people coming together, building relationships, and showing up for one another.
Thank you to everyone who participated.
NO KINGS March and Rally

Well attended West Jefferson #NoKings event in a deep red Ashe County, NC unites unusual allies. "But if there was an overarching, unifying, and most heartening theme to the event – one that helped draw together a broad and somewhat unusual group of political bedfellows – it was the simple idea that our nation is and should remain a constitutional democracy."
